All That I Am

Psalm 104:1 - Let all that I am praise the Lord.  O Lord my God, how great You are!  You are robed with honor and majesty.

I love how this Psalm begins and ends the same way by saying, "Let all that I am praise the Lord."  In between the writer describes all the great things that God created, and how He did it for us and all of His creation.  He did the hard work, and we get to enjoy the fruits of His labor.  How great He is indeed.

How often do I take time to reflect on the beauty that God has placed all around me?  Not nearly as much as I should.  God put everything exactly where it is for a reason.  Taking the time to appreciate the fruit of His labor and the marvel of His creation can only strengthen my love and appreciation for Him.  It will certainly give me the desire to praise Him with all that I am.

Dear Lord, thank You for this beautiful place we call home.  I know that through the years, mankind hasn't exactly treated it like they should.  I pray that You will give me the heart to appreciate all the beauty You have put around me.  I pray that I will honor and praise You with all that I am.  In Jesus' name, Amen!

God Bless!!!
