Psalm - 64:10 - The Godly will rejoice in the lord and find shelter in Him. And those who do what is right will praise Him.
By doing what is right, we get to praise God, because when we do what is pleasing to the Lord. He protects us and gives us shelter and refuge.
Because of this passage, I will make sure that I do what is right in the eyes of God. I will seek His guidance for everything, and He will not lead me astray.

God saved David from being destroyed by his enemies, and David praised the Lord for it. While everyday people don't have specific enemies, everyone has a common enemy called "EVIL". God saves us all from this enemy, and he deserves our humblest praises for it.
Because of this passage, I will renew my commitment to God every day by thanking and praising him for delivering me in to Salvation's arms through his Son, Jesus Christ.

A wise person fears God, because he knows better. You must know and believe God's existence and power to truly begin to understand.
Because of this passage, I will open my heart to the Holy Spirit so that I may begin to have complete understanding of God's power and love.

Joy
Psalm 16:11 - You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy Your presence and the pleasures of living with you forever.
Living with God in your life is the path to pure happiness. There is nothing greater, nor can there be. He truly is the way, the truth and the life.
Because of this passage, I will invite God in to my heart and my life more freely. I leave all of it up to Him.
God, how are you going to bless me and who can I show love to? God, please come in to my life and take over. I am nothing without You. I only want to live for You, and nothing else. Amen!

Discipline
Proverbs 6:23 - For these commands and this teaching are a lamp to light the way ahead of you. The correction of discipline is the way to life.
Following God's commands and trusting His wisdom, will lead you down the lighted path of salvation.
Because of this passage, I will more faithfully follow God's commands when He speaks to mea, so that I don't stray off His lighted path.
God, how are you going to bless me and who can I show love to? Dear God, teach me! Give me the wisdome I need to stay on Your lighted path. So that I can continue to praise You for everything. Amen!

Proverbs 5:22 - An evil man is held captive by his own sins; they are ropes that catch and hold him.
We are slaves to our sins. It is only by confessing our sins to God, do we begin to break the ropes of bondage.
Because of this passage, I will make sure that I confess my sins to God. Although he knows my heart and my sins. I will not be truly free unless I confess them with my mouth.
God, how are you going to bless me and who can I show love to? I confess to you, dear God, that I am a worthless sinner. But through Your love and grace, I have found the path and I thank you. Amen!

Praise
Psalm 7:17 - I will thank the lord, because is just, I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.
God is absolute and fair, and offering praise to Him because of it, is where we should start.
Because of this passage, I will continue to praise God for being just and fair with me. He knows my heart, and I kno I love Him for all he has given me.
